1) The buyer is encouraged to take their new bird(s) directly after delivery to a licensed avian vet of their choice for a well bird exam.
2) Eclectic Parrots provides a Limited Health Guarantee.
3) Eclectic Parrots warrants that the bird(s) at the time of purchase is/are in good health.
4) Upon receiving a baby from us, you have 72 hours to have it examined by a qualified Avian Veterinarian (at buyer's expense) if there are no other birds present in your home or yards. If there are other birds present you must take your new baby directly to an avian vet or this health guarantee is void.
5) The tests performed will be determined by the buyer and their vet. Eclectic Parrots will provide you a reference list of local avian veterinarians if necessary and/or possible.
6) If the licensed avian vet determines that the bird has a serious or permanent condition that affects their health and well being, Eclectic Parrots will (at our discretion) refund monies paid or replace the baby with a bird of the same species of equal value.
7) Eclectic Parrots is not responsible for your veterinarian expenses.
8) Eclectic Parrots will pay for any medicines prescribed by an avian vet at the INITIAL EXAM, ONLY if notified immediately within the 72 hour health guarantee time period.
9) Eclectic Parrots reserves the right to obtain a second opinion at our expense.
1) The buyer agrees to have the bird examined within the guarantee time period or accept the bird "as is".
2) Eclectic Parrots must be notified IMMEDIATELY if any changes are noticed in the bird’s health within the allotted 72 hour health guarantee period
3) If the bird dies within the 72 hour time period, refrigerate bird {DO NOT FREEZE} until a necropsy can be performed at the buyers expense to determine liability and possible replacement of bird.
